The Humanitarian Coalition has operated under independent legal registration with Industry Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency since June 2010. Prior to this, joint appeals were administered by CARE Canada.

Canadian Humanitarian Assistance Fund Reports
To remain fully accountable and transparent, the Canadian Humanitarian Assistance Fund (CHAF) mechanism calls for the documentation of activities at all key stages of its operations, including in a dedicated annual report. Starting in 2017-2018, CHAF reports are part of the annual report.
