Ottawa artist to help Stop Famine Together

Ottawa artist Martha Nixon has generously agreed to donate 50% of her sales from her upcoming art show at the Galerie Old Chelsea to the Humanitarian Coalition’s Stop Famine Together campaign. Ms. Nixon, a mixed media, encaustics and printmaking artist, is holding her show opening on Sunday, June 4, from 1-4pm, at 783 route 105, Chelsea, Québec.

The Humanitarian Coalition is raising funds to help people in parts of Africa and Yemen on the brink of starvation, and thanks to a Government of Canada matching fund, her donation will have double the impact on the ground. We are extremely grateful for Ms. Nixon’s gesture and hope Ottawa and Gatineau residents will reciprocate her generosity.
