Session 2: Guest Speaker - Jennifer Clapp
Professor in the Environment and Resource Studies Department at the Balsillie School of International Affairs, CIGI Chair in Global Environmental Governance and Associate Dean of Research in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo. Jennifer Clapp’s recent publications include: Hunger in the Balance: The New Politics of International Food Aid; Food; Paths to a Green World: The Political Economy of the Global Environment; The Global Food Crisis: Governance Challenges and Opportunities (co-edited with Marc J. Cohen); and Corporate Power in Global Agrifood Governance (co-edited with Doris Fuchs).

Session 3: Final Evaluation of East Africa Drought Response in 2011
The evaluation was conducted in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia in October 2012, looking at CARE, Oxfam, Plan and Save the Children response programs funded by the Humanitarian Coalition and CIDA in response to the 2011 East Africa Drought. The evaluation report and findings will be presented by the lead evaluators.
